Mother is very ill
My mother was given a poisonous prescription medication which affected her brain. It has affected all aspects of her life as she no longer knows what is real, what happened, how old she is, able to tell time periods, months and days, has very bad confusion and memory problems and asks for different foods, has a different personality, will ask the same question over and over again or repeat herself over and over again. Things too numerous to mention. It has destroyed her life. I have taken over as her 24 hour care taker. She went to her doctor on the fifth day this happened and he told her she was just "getting old". As I saw she was getting worse and worse I insisted on taking her back. Her doctor got annoyed that I left him a lengthy message regarding her health and when we went back he told her either she was in a huge depression or had Alzheimers/Dementia none of which are true. I told him that she started taking that prescription that same day that all of this started. It turned out it was the medication. I am in search for a new physician/specialist. I ask for prayers for her recovery if that is possible at this point because I do not know if she will stay the same or ever improve. I ask for prayers to guide me to the right physician/specialist to take care of her from now on. God Bless all of you.
