Prayer for Alcoholic Wife
Please pray for my wife Patricia. She is addicted to alcohol, but in deep denial of her illness.
She was previously diagnosed with depression and last year tried to commit suicide. She got help for her depression and has been prescribed medication, but after her 6 week alcohol and depression treatment program she has continued to drink. Her drinking has become progressively worse and is now counteracting the effects of her anti-depressants.
Please pray that the Lord will deliver her from her addiction. Pray that the Lord will let her see through the fog of denial and see that her addiction is destroying her and her family. Pray that the Lord will give her strength and the desire to get help and to give up alcohol for the rest of her life. Please pray that He will keep her from harm.
Lord, please deliver her, her children, and me from this illness.
