The only thing that really matters in the end is love. Our day is successful if we have done some good to another, no matter how small. Besides deeds, our good intentions also count. The pain we endured in silence, the words we whispered in the ear of God in prayer – all these are eloquent testimonty of our love.
Lord, let me pass that all important test, the one that alone counts. How am I loving you today? Were my words kind or abusive? Was my heart proud? Did I ignore you in others?
