Lord, you made us spatio-temporal creatures. My life on earth is but a grace period before eternity. It expires when eternity begins. The time I spend on objects or people is what makes them important to me. In my busy schedule, let me spend quality moments with you. Deliver me from the tendency to give you the bum’s rush. Let me make you important to me bu the amount of time I spend with you in silence, in discerning your will.
