Prayer For The Dying And The Dead
Father, I pray to you for the dying of this world. In their last minutes in this life be their consolation, their strength, their hope. In your mercy, forgive them whatever is to be forgiven in their lives. Give them rest from the pain, the suffering, the problems with which they have struggled in this world. May peace and happiness be their reward for loving and for serving you. Join them with all those who have died throughout the centuries so that they may share the consolation and reward you reserve for those who do your will in this world. Amen.
